Niecy Nash-Betts won an Emmy on Monday night for her part in Netflix’s “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.” She was named Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series.
In her moving award speech, she promised to speak out for Black women like Sandra Bland, Breonna Taylor, and Glenda Cleveland who have been ignored by the police but are being over-policed.
