Fans are learning more about Wendy Williams’s earnings as her ex-husband Kevin Hunter fights for alimony and her son Kevin Hunter Jr. struggles without The Wendy Williams Show to fall back on. People have talked a lot about Williams’s health and why all of her accounts were frozen at the beginning of this year. Williams and Hunter’s divorce settlement is also easier to understand thanks to new court papers.
Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter worked very well together. She was the star and spokeswoman, while he ran the business and kept Williams safe from her enemies. Someone always wanted to beat her up because of what she did for a living, so Hunter became her strength. As her business grew, he also took over as her manager and the show’s chief producer.
Hunter had been having an affair with another woman for most of the time he was married to Wendy. When he got his lover pregnant, it was clear that he could no longer lead two lives. Hunter left Williams for the other woman, and soon after, Williams’ business fell apart. Hunter is said to have put her in a facility to “recover” from her problems, but she later found out that he put her there so she wouldn’t find out that his other woman was giving birth.
Wendy and Kevin did not have a prenuptial agreement, but it was recently found out that he was given some income related to the show because he was in it. When Wendy got sick in the fall of 2021, it was clear that she wouldn’t be back on the show for a while. Even though the show kept going and even hinted that she might come back, we now know that they had been getting ready to get rid of her as early as October of that year.
According to court papers, Williams’ contract ended on October 15, 2021. Around the same time, Kevin Hunter stopped getting his alimony. “On October 15, 2021, Talk WW told [Hunter] that [Wendy Williams’] contract was being canceled and that the complainant would not get paid for as long as she was disabled and unable to work. According to the rules of their divorce, Williams could pay Hunter again if she got another job that paid her as much as or more than The Wendy Williams Show. Sadly, that hasn’t happened yet.
Wendy’s contract was canceled, and all of her accounts were frozen in January after people said she was being taken advantage of. It was said that her son charged more than $100,000 on her AMEX card, and she has stopped talking to him. He is being kicked out of his million-dollar condo in Miami because he hasn’t paid his rent. Kevin Sr. posted on social media to say that he is also in danger of losing his home because Williams hasn’t paid him. He also did an interview recently in which he took credit for Wendy’s success and said that they should have split up 10 years ago.
Wendy is still not known, and she hasn’t said anything about all of this.
