A man is in jail after he shot and killed a 17-year-old at a gas station in Arlington.
On July 16, police were called to a QuikTrip in the 4900 block of Little Road because someone had been shot. When they got there, they saw a 17-year-old boy who had been shot and was not moving.
When help came, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
As they looked into the scene and talked to witnesses, they found out that 18-year-old Taymour Makarem had shot and killed the person.
Makarem and the victim must have known each other and had fought before. When they ran into each other at the gas station, they got into an argument. Makarem pulled out a gun and fired several shots into the victim’s car.
Three other people were in the car with tbt when the shooting happened, but they were not hurt.

Makarem left the scene before police could get there, but they found him later near where Treepoint Drive and Paces Trail meet.
He was arrested for murder and put in jail in Arlington City.
