After 8 years of marriage, Tina Knowles” has filed for a divorce from star Richard Lawson.
TMZ got papers that show Mama Tina filled out forms on Wednesday.
She says that their actual date of separation is Tuesday and that they can’t get along anymore, which is why they broke up.
In her suit, Tina asks the court to stop being able to give either her or Richard spousal support. She also wants to go back to being called Celestine Knowles instead of Celestine Lawson.
We’ve known for a while that Tina and Richard had broken up, and it looks like the rumors were right.
We hope the best for them both.
