Quavo and Offset of the rap group Migos took the stage at the 2023 BET Awards on Sunday night to remember their late groupmate Takeoff. Since last year, there had been rumors that the two were not getting along. This was their first appearance together since then.
In a touching tribute, the rappers shocked the crowd by walking out to Quavo and Takeoff’s Unc and Phew hit “Hotel Lobby.” This sent a wave of excitement through Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theatre. Then, they sang “Bad and Boujee,” which is one of Migos’ most famous songs, in an amazing way.
The two were seen together for the first time in months at a party last week to honor Takeoff on what would have been the rapper’s 29th birthday. Takeoff, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot outside of a Houston bowling alley on November 1, 2022. He died in a sad way.
