Less than a month before the much-anticipated Barbie movie from Warner Bros. comes out, fans can stay in the real-life Malibu DreamHouse for free.
AirBnB said on Monday that fans will be able to book the DreamHouse in Malibu for two free one-night stays for two people each on July 21 and July 22.
A press release from Airbnb says that the stays will be free of charge because Ken couldn’t figure out how to price Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse.
Fans can start to ask for a room at the DreamHouse at AirBNB.com/KensDreamHouse on July 17 at 10 a.m. PT.
The press release has photos by Joyce Lee and a quote from the character Ken, who is played by Ryan Gosling, who just started a world press tour with co-star Margot Robbie.
Ken said in his statement, “We all have dreams, and Barbie is lucky enough to have a whole house full of them.”
“But now it’s my turn, and I can’t wait to show off these one-of-a-kind (dare I say, one-of-a-Ken?) digs to my guests,” he said.
The DreamHouse is an oceanfront mansion in Malibu, California. It has “panoramic views” and is “the perfect setting for Ken’s picture-perfect paradise.”
Fans who stay in the DreamHouse will be able to look through Ken’s awesome closet to find their best beach outfit.
They will also be able to learn how to line dance on “Ken’s outdoor disco dance floor” or play “a sunset serenade on Ken’s guitar” if they are musically talented.
Guests will also be able to sunbathe and relax near the infinity pool, and they will even be able to take home some cool gifts.
After the stay, fans will be able to take home “their very own set of yellow-and-pink Impala skates and surfboards.”
Airbnb will also make a one-time gift to Save The Children to honor the movie’s themes of empowering girls.
