A mother shared some sweet pictures of her taking her one-year-old son to her prom, and they are too cute to handle.
Melissa McCabe, who is from Tranmere in the UK, had her son Arthur when she was 15. Since then, she has loved and cared for him a lot.
Melissa was a young mom, so she still had one more year of school and her prom to look forward to. She didn’t want Arthur to miss out on those things, either.
As is generally the case in schools in the UK, 16-year-olds who are graduating and moving on to higher levels of education have a prom.
Students and teachers get dressed up and generally have a sit-down meal before dancing the night away.

Asking people to go to the prom with you isn’t a big deal, since friends usually just rent a cool car together. But Melissa already knew who she wanted to go with.
The 16-year-old girl was joined by Arthur, who was 1 years old and wore a three-piece suit and a blue dress with crystals on it.
Melissa posted on TikTok, “Everyone is going to prom with their boyfriend, but I’m taking my best friend,” and the video is full of cute pictures of Arthur.
People were very moved by the video, which has been watched by more than 1.8 million people.

Melissa told the Liverpool Echo about some of the problems she’s had as a young mom, like people being mean to her because she got pregnant so young.
Even though people didn’t think Melissa would do well as a mother, Arthur’s smile shows that she is showing them wrong.
