The day for Juvenile’s NPR Tiny Desk show has finally come, and people on Twitter are happy.

The Hot Boys star said a few weeks ago that he would be performing on the Tiny Desk during Black Music Appreciation Month. This was after fans used Twitter to try to get the rapper on the stage.

It all started when a fan tweeted NPR and asked them to add the rapper to their list. Juvenile replied to the tweet in an unclear way by saying, “Wtf is a tiny desk and no.” But after learning about the internet’s most popular concert series, he quickly took back what he said and said he’d “RECONSIDER doing @NPR Tiny Desk” if he got 10,000 shares. Fans didn’t take long to accept the dare, though.

During this time, he also complained loudly about not getting his flowers from Essence Fest, which had planned to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop without him in New Orleans. He’s been added to the list, which is good news.

His Tiny Desk show was a great way to start off his long list of awards, and as expected, his fans were happy. Many people liked his live versions of “Rodeo” and “Back That A** Up.” Some people were just glad to see that the OG was finally getting a lot of attention.
