The” fifth-grade teacher told her students “to ask their parents to tell them a story with a lesson at the end.
The next day, the kids came back and started telling their stories one by one.
There were all the” usual things, like milk that got spilled and pennies that were “”saved. But then the teacher saw that Janie was the only one left”.
“Do you have a story to tell, Janie?”
“Yes ma’am. My Dad told me a story about my Mom. She was a pilot in the Marines, and her plane got hit during Desert Storm. She had to bail out over enemy country, but all she had with her was a flask of whiskey, a pistol, and a survival knife.
She drank the whiskey on the way down so the bottle wouldn’t break, and then she parachuted right into the middle of 20 Iraqi soldiers……..
She shot 15 of them with the pistol until she ran out of bullets, killed four more with the knife until the blade broke, and then killed the last Iraqi with her naked hands.
“Oh my God,” said the shocked teacher. What did your father tell you was the lesson of this terrible story”?
“Don’t mess with Mommy after she’s had a few drinks.”
I love these heartfelt stories!
