He was also excited to show off his new haircut, which he got for his birthday dinner. Bill paid respect to Camille Cosby, his wife of 57 years, by using the words of the late singer James Brown in the caption. James Brown isn’t here anymore.

Bill made these posts just a few days after some of the women who had accused him of sexual assault protested against his release from jail. Even though her husband has been going through hard times, Camille has been a steady source of support for him the whole time. Their first date, which was set up for them and took place at a bowling alley, was when Camille was only 18 years old.

They started dating from far away and didn’t get married until 1964. Camille has always supported her husband and their marriage, even though her parents didn’t agree with it.
