A touching video that has gone viral shows the moment a woman finds out she passed the Bar tests after her grandparents remortgaged their home to pay for her law school.
Seren Lewis, who is 22 years old, has been writing about her time in law school on her TikTok page. After months of hard studying and tests, she finally found out if she had passed or not.
The TikToker, who goes by the handle @SerenLewis1, can be seen sitting next to her grandparents and looking at her computer screen with worry.
When her grandfather sees that she is upset before the results are out, he puts his arm around her to comfort her while her grandma takes care of the technical stuff.
After a quick look at the results, her grandfather shouts with joy, “Pass, pass, pass!” Seren starts crying, and her loving grandparents quickly join her.
Everyone who watches Seren’s video can see that she and her grandparents are very close, and the caption tells about the trip they have taken together.
Seren wrote, “Passing the Bar and becoming a lawyer is my biggest accomplishment to date.” “But it wouldn’t have happened without my grandparents, for whom I will always be grateful. The most selfless thing anyone could have done for me was to take me in when I was 2 years old and retire early to care for a baby.
She went on to say, “Bar school is very expensive, and most people in the UK still can’t afford it. They chose to remortgage their house, which they had already paid off years before, so they could go. Without that, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
It’s hard to watch the touching movie without getting emotional, especially when you know that Seren’s grandparents have spent a big part of their lives making sure she has the chances she deserves.
People rushed to the comments to say what they thought. One person wrote, “Congratulations!! Your grandparents and you deserve the world.”
A second person said, “It’s 7:08 AM, and this is making me cry. Congratulations! “I’m proud of you, and I don’t even know you,” and “God bless them and you. I hope you do well in your career and wish you and your grandparents the best life there is.”

Even if you don’t know Seren, it’s hard not to be very proud of her. Her grandparents are obviously wonderful people, and we know that the 22-year-old will be a great lawyer.
