Michael Jeffrey Jordan, also known as MJ, is a businessman and entrepreneur who formerly played in the NBA. Born on the 17th of February, 1963.
Michael Jordan is regarded as the all-time great player in the history of basketball, as stated in his bio on the official NBA website. Throughout 15 seasons with the Chicago Bulls, he was a part of six NBA championship teams and won all of them.
Jordan is the owner and chairman of both the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA and 23XI Racing, which competes in the NASCAR Cup Series. During the 1980s and 1990s, he was a key figure in the growth of the NBA and the global popularity of basketball.
Make A Wish is an organisation that grants “wishes” to children with life-threatening illnesses on their birthdays on February 17. Jordan believes that his donation will motivate people to support the foundation by giving them money. Kids are excited about going to Disney World and seeing Jordan.
Since he started playing for the Chicago Bulls in 1984, Jordan has made hundreds of fans’ dreams come true. According to the organisation, he is still one of the celebrities who is asked to make appearances the most.
According to Jordan, “it has been a pleasure to work with Make A Wish and contribute to the happiness and happiness of so many children” during the course of the organization’s 34-year history. “Their bravery and tenacity in the face of such a challenging situation has been motivating. It’s hard for me to think of a better idea for a birthday present than to have people donate to Make A Wish in the hopes that one day every kid will have the opportunity to experience the magic of having a wish come true.
His dream for the year 2000 when he was 11 years old became legendary. After being diagnosed with a brain tumour, Katie was forced to call it quits on her career as a basketball player. Her enthusiasm for athletics was reignited once she met Jordan through the Make A Wish organisation.
Katie went on to say that “imagining” seeing Michael helped her get through all of her treatments. That sparked new ideas and fantasies in their minds.
She beat her brain tumour and went on to work for the Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic organisation for five years.
Make A Wish will be able to grant children’s desires thanks to Jordan’s contribution. Many news stories focus on Jordan because of the multi-year contributions he has made to charitable organisations like the Boys and Girls Club, where he is a student.
According to Novant Health, Jordan, who was born and raised in North Carolina and currently owns the Charlotte Hornets, has pledged $10 million towards the opening of two new medical facilities in the state in 2021.
Jordan is not the most generous donor to Make A Wish, despite the fact that she has contributed $10 million and helped to grant the wishes of hundreds of children.
Since 2002, actor and professional wrestler John Cena has been recognised by Guinness World Records for granting 650 fans’ wishes and granting them all at once. The most number of wishes is 400.
