Doctors estimated 9-year-old Bailey Cooper had weeks or days remaining. The dying youngster with cancer lasted longer than predicted, meeting and naming his infant sister.

Bailey’s mum assured him he’d have a sibling then. Bailey couldn’t let go without cuddling. On her way to the hospital in November, Bailey proposed a name that stayed.

Millie implies ‘soft strength’. Bailey was the perfect older brother in her first month. Due of his illness, he expressed her affection best. He adored her and hugged her close during their brief time together.

Bailey’s remissions

Bailey Cooper was diagnosed in 2016. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a rare disease of the body’s arteries and glands, was initially diagnosed as a viral illness.

Bailey was stage 3 at diagnosis. The youngster and his family went through a lot in 15 months.

Bailey’s cancer remission lasted. His cancer resurfaced while on vacation.

Cancer doctors told the 9-year-old youngster “days or weeks” to live. Doctors neglected this young boy’s desire to meet his new sister. Rachel—mother—was Bailey’s pregnant. Bailey Cooper insists on meeting his sister!

Bailey’s family pushed him to prepare a Christmas wish list, knowing he wouldn’t make it. His parents saw that they looked to have been picked for his younger brother Riley.
Bailey requested superhero costumes at his funeral, knowing he was dying.

At their last family reunion, he informed his parents, “You can only cry for 20 minutes.”

Bailey said, “That’s extremely selfish, Nan, you have grandchildren to take care of.”

We were at his bedside on Christmas Eve. We knew. Bailey, it’s time to go. Stop it.

“He breathed his last with a tear.”
