Kristina Ozturk, a 24-year-old woman from Moscow, has embarked on an extraordinary journey to have 105 biological children with her husband, Galip Ozturk, a 57-year-old hotel magnate. The couple, who met during Kristina’s vacation in Batumi, Georgia, have already welcomed 21 children through surrogacy in just over a year.
Between March 2020 and July of this year, the Ozturks have invested a significant €168,000 (£142,000) in surrogacy arrangements. In addition to this, they allocate roughly $96,000 (£67,700) annually for the salaries of 16 live-in nannies to help care for their growing family.
Despite the large family and the assistance of numerous nannies, Kristina, who also has a six-year-old daughter named Vika from a previous relationship, asserts her active role in her children’s lives. In an interview with Fabulous, she emphasized her hands-on approach to motherhood, stating, “I’m with the kids all the time, doing all the things that mums normally do.”
The family, reportedly residing in a spacious three-story mansion, chose the path of surrogacy to expand
their family at a rapid pace. Their journey into parenthood through surrogacy began with the birth of their first child, Mustafa, on March 10, 2020. The latest addition to their family, and their 21st child together, is the three-month-old Judy.
Kristina and Galip Ozturk’s life, particularly their unique approach to building a large family, has garnered considerable attention. Kristina, especially, has become quite a figure on social media. On her Instagram account, which boasts over 162,000 followers, she frequently shares insights into their bustling household. Her posts offer a glimpse into the logistics and joys of managing such a large family, from organizing the schedules of their staff to handling the weekly essentials for the babies, which include 20 large bags of diapers and 53 packs of baby formula, costing around £4,000 per week.
Kristina’s days are anything but typical, filled with the hustle and bustle of managing a large household. “Each day is different,” she says, “from planning staff schedules to shopping for my family.” Despite the challenges and the busy schedule, Kristina and Galip’s journey is a testament to their extraordinary commitment to creating a large, loving family, challenging traditional norms and showcasing a unique way of life.
