Bridget Moynahan is now happily in love years after breaking up with NFL player Tom Brady.

Bridget Moynahan, who is now 52 years old, told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview in 2008 about her surprising journey as a single mother. “I never thought I would raise a child alone,” she said, and she said she wanted a partner who could be at the same time her partner, her lover, and her friend.
For Bridget Moynahan, finding out she was going to have a baby was a shock and a challenge. It was hard for her to accept that she wasn’t going to get married before having kids like she had always planned.
In a Harper’s Bazaar interview, she said, “I’m a traditional girl. I believe in marriage, and I always thought that’s how I’d do this.” At first, I found it hard to believe that this was how I was going to have a family.
When Bridget found out she was pregnant three months after breaking up with former NFL star Tom Brady in December 2006, they were no longer together. By that time, Tom was seeing supermodel Gisele Bündchen again. In Bridget’s words, this made things more difficult and “traumatic.”
In thinking back on this, she said it was hard to be pregnant and a mom while being surrounded by a lot of media attention. “I don’t think anyone grows up thinking, ‘I want to be a single mom,'” she said. “I could be wrong.”
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen got married in February 2009, while Bridget Moynahan was taking care of her son Jack. They had their first child, Benjamin, 10 months after that. Vivian, their second child, was born in December 2012. Sadly, they split up in 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
She wrote in her autobiography that it was hard for her to hear that Tom’s ex-girlfriend Bridget was pregnant. It had been two months since Tom told her that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant. The news spread like wildfire the next day, and I felt like my whole world had turned upside down.
In contrast, Bridget Moynahan found comfort and happiness in her 2007-born son, John “Jack” Edward Thomas.
In 2019, Bridget wrote a book called “Our Shoes, Our Selves,” in which she talks about the problems she had during that time, especially how awkward it was for her to be in public. She wrote, “Having a baby should have been the happiest time of my life, but I felt violently attacked.”
She loved being a mother, even though it was hard, because she realized it gave her more happiness than her modeling and acting jobs. Bridget has often talked about how much she loves being a mom by saying, “I have become that mom I used to dread.” There are times when you think he’s really smart. Harper’s Bazaar says, “He’s a genius.”
Finding Andrew Frankel, who is 49 years old, through friends they both had made Bridget Moynahan’s life better. Early in 2015, they got engaged. In October of that year, they had a hidden wedding at Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, New York. Instead of gifts, they asked people to give money to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
She remembers the beautiful wedding with love and is grateful for how well her dress was made and how much fun the whole event was. At that point, everyone was happy for Bridget because they knew she earned it after a public breakup and being a single mom.
Andrew Frankel and Bridget Moynahan have a blended family with his three sons from a past relationship. All of them make Bridget’s son Jack feel loved and cared for.
Even though Bridget had to deal with some surprising problems, she is thankful that her son has a large family. By way of Us Weekly, she told More magazine, “My son has two loving parents and a big family, like cousins, stepmothers, and boyfriends.” A lot of love is around my son.
