Kelly, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on October 13, 1962, worked in film like John. In 1985, she began acting after studying at USC. Kelly was in Mischief, Twins, Jerry Maguire, and For Love of the Game.
A family representative told People, “On the morning of July 12, 2020, Kelly Preston, adored wife, and mother, passed away following a two-year battle with breast cancer.”
She was bright, gorgeous, and compassionate, caring for others and bringing life to everything she touched. Her family requests privacy at this time.”
Kelly Preston concealed her breast cancer diagnosis. Sally Phillips, her collaborator in her final film Off the Rails, told Loose Women that they didn’t know about it while filming. Sally noted that cinema insurance and future job prospects make people hide health difficulties.

People go through it on their own because of concerns about film insurance and working again later, she said. Sally also cited Chadwick Boseman and Helen McCrory, who similarly hid their health issues.
John Travolta posted on Instagram that Kelly heroically battled her sickness with numerous supporters. His thanks went to her doctors, nurses, medical centres, and friends and family who supported her. Kelly’s love and life will be honoured, Travolta said.
He said he will spend time with his family, especially his 22-year-old Ella and 11-year-old Ben, during the grief process in the same message. Their first child, Jett, died at 16 from a seizure.
Three children were born to John Travolta and Kelly Preston after 19 years of marriage. We realise why he wouldn’t be ready to move on less than a year after her death.
Travolta isn’t ready to date again. Many of his friends have tried to match him up, and many women want to date him. John is now uninterested in dating. Others understand his conflict over falling in love again or being single to be the best father. Now, everyone is allowing him time to think things out.

I’ve learnt that mourning is individualised. Travolta told the magazine that only your path can heal you. “Each person is unique. The best way to help someone mourning is to let them do it without interfering. Yes, I learned that.”
Grief is familiar to Travolta. In 2009, Jett, his oldest child with Kelly Preston, died at 16 after a seizure. Autism and Kawasaki disease caused Jett to have seizures. Travolta suffered tremendously after losing his son.
Today, three years after Kelly’s death, John Travolta prioritises family and fatherhood. After his wife’s death, he followed his pledge to give up his career to focus on the family.
He appeared alongside his daughter Ella in a Super Bowl commercial last year. The commercial gave Travolta and his family enjoyment while showcasing his dance talents.
Like everyone else, Ella Bleu struggled to lose her mother. She has been following her father’s acting career, and her dad has always supported her.
When Ella, 22, was cast in Get Lost, a new Alice in Wonderland, John Travolta was pleased of his daughter. “I’m a very proud dad!” he captioned a photo of her as Alice on Instagram.
Ben, 11, his blonde-haired kid, is often photographed by the 68-year-old single dad. The Saturday Night Fever star said, “It’s a privilege to be a father” on Father’s Day. I adore you, my kids. Congratulations on Father’s Day, with images of his kids.
Travolta said he wants to help his kids grow up and succeed in life.
“The legacy is created by all the people who have loved and helped me over the years,” he told Esquire. Life’s a journey; what you leave in people is your legacy.”
John Travolta sold his family’s Maine vacation house, where they spent a lot of time collectively. Married to Kelly, he bought the mansion in 1991. Twenty bedrooms, a beach, ocean access, and an in-ground pool were listed for $5 million in 2021. Even if it was too expensive, Travolta wants to sell the vacation property. It returns in 2022.

Travolta is a licenced 737 pilot and a famous actor. In 2001, he was among the first to buy land in this gated neighbourhood.

We sympathise with the Travolta family, but it’s encouraging to see John doing well and finding serenity during his grief.
Grief and healing must be allowed. Everyone copes differently, whether alone or with special individuals.
