Fans of the Harry Potter series will be thrilled to hear that actor Evanna Lynch had a secret relationship with a co-star from the famous series for nine years.
Lynch, 32, kept her long-term relationship with Robbie Jarvis a secret. She is best known for her role as Luna Lovegood, which wowed viewers. If you don’t recognise the name, Jarvis played a young James Potter for a short time in a memory.
Lynch first showed us the magical world of Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which came out in 2007. In 2006, she met Jarvis, who is now 37 years old, on the set of this movie.
Even though they were together for almost ten years, no one knew about their relationship until they broke up in 2016.
Even though Jarvis’s part in the movie was short, it was very important. He played James Potter, Harry’s dad, when he was younger. Fans of the show will remember the scene where James laughs and uses a magic to take Severus Snape’s power away.
Even though they kept their relationship quiet at first, the couple finally let everyone know about their relationship through a series of sweet Instagram posts.
They went on a trip together to New Zealand’s beautiful Hobbiton, which was used as a filming site for The Lord of the Rings. During this holiday, Jarvis said goodbye to meat. He said that Lynch inspired him to become a vegan.

His post was very emotional. He said, “That vacation was the last time I ate meat, and I feel bad for the boy in this picture; he had more in common with those sheep than he knew.” I’m glad to say I have a better idea of how much my food really costs now.
Fans were also moved by Lynch’s sweet Instagram tribute to Jarvis on his 29th birthday in 2015. “Happy 29th Birthday to this little babe!!” she wrote. The nicest boy! We’re going to see a show together. Happy birthday, Robbie.”
Even though they broke up in 2016, their bond is still strong. They go to a lot of events together, especially veggie ones, which shows how close they are.
The two of them are vegan, so Lynch told Us Weekly, “We go to a lot of vegan events together.” “Okay, we’re friends.”
Lynch’s birthday present from Jarvis in 2020, a peaceful picture of her in a boat, shows how close they are. “Happy birthday to someone who is always happy to see ducklings!” he wrote under the picture.
