Usher is telling Rihanna how much he loves her!
The 45-year-old “Boyfriend” singer shared a video of Rihanna supporting him on X (old name for Twitter) on Wednesday, before his 2024 Super Bowl halftime show.
“Real recognise real Thank U Queen @rihanna,” Usher wrote on X as he reposted the video of the Fenty founder giving the speech. In February, she hosted the event and announced that she was pregnant with her second child with A$AP Rocky.
“I can’t give Usher no advice,” Rihanna said in the video when asked for help. “Usher has been doing this since he was a teenager and is a natural. His name is Usher.”
“He’s made for that show,” the singer of “Lift Me Up” said next in the video. “Entertainers who do this are exciting to watch, and he just proved in Las Vegas that he’s not going anywhere.”

In September, Usher shared a video of himself getting a call from Kim Kardashian giving him the news that he would be the main act at the Super Bowl halftime show.

The halftime show at the 2024 Super Bowl will be Usher’s second time at the game. In 2011, he played with the Black Eyed Peas at an event where they were the main act.
This month, the singer of “U Got It Bad” finished up his engagement at My Way Las Vegas. Usher was so moved that he fell to his knees during the last performance of the residency, which began in July 2022. His dance crew was all around him.
