Six Nyamane, born Mpume, is the newest addition to the cast of Generations: The Legacy, playing the role of Nozipho Cele. With a wealth of experience in playing complex characters, Nyamane is no stranger to the screen.
Her journey to stardom began with a passion for hockey, which earned her the nickname “Six” – a name that stuck even as she transitioned to acting. Nyamane’s love for the sport was evident from a young age, playing from grade 4 to matric. However, her move to Johannesburg led her to pursue a new passion – acting.
Despite her family’s initial disapproval, Nyamane followed her heart and enrolled in Unisa, where she discovered her love for acting. Her first audition landed her a role, and she continued to hone her craft, eventually winning over her mother’s support.
With a string of successful roles under her belt, including Buhle on Scandal! and Natasha in the comedy film Blessers, Nyamane is making a name for herself in the South African entertainment industry. As a 25-year-old mother of a three-year-old, she is a true inspiration, showing that with dedication and passion, anything is possible.
Nyamane’s story is a testament to following one’s dreams, even when they don’t align with others’ expectations. Her rise to stardom is a reminder that with hard work and perseverance, anyone can achieve their goals and make a name for themselves in their chosen field.
