It’s actually John Cena’s second marriage, and he got married in October 2020, which is a very short amount of time. The two met on the set of the 2019 movie “Playing with Fire,” and after only a year and a half of dating, they got married in secret.
After Cena married Shay, he made it clear that he doesn’t want kids and doesn’t have any plans to have them.
Before he started dating Shay, the Fast and Furious star tweeted, “When you are truly ready to let love in and give love all it needs to grow, I feel there is no greater or more rewarding connection.” Two years later, Cen and Shay had another wedding to honor their love. The actor doesn’t see a need to start a family, or maybe he doesn’t feel the need.
The actor who played the peacemaker said that his work kept him busy and that he’s happy with his life as it is now.
According to TODAY, he said, “”I really enjoy my life. I’ve been riding on a lightning bolt for a while now. I’ve had chances to do and see things that, man, I couldn’t have even dreamed of, and I had some pretty big dreams”. Cena said that his life is pretty busy and that he works hard to be the best husband. Because of these responsibilities, he feels like he doesn’t have much time left to work on other goals.
‘”It’s hard work,’ he said. It’s hard to find the right amount of time to” do everything I need to do. “To be the best partner and husband I can be to my loved wife, I have to” work hard. It’s hard for me to stay in touch with the people I care about.’ The 46-year-old thinks he would be a good parent, but he says that’s not a good enough reason for him to try to have kids.
Cena went on, saying, “I don’t think being good at something is a good enough reason to do that.” You have to really care about it. You have to give it something to burn. But new stories say it’s not completely out of the question for the couple to have kids. A person close to them said that even though Cena has said he doesn’t want children, he’s now warming up to the idea.
The person told US Magazine, “He’s been saying for a long time that he doesn’t want children, but now he’s getting more and more interested in the idea.” They’ll just go with the flow, but Shay is different. He feels more mature and ready to take on the duty. It’s definitely something they’d both like.’ Society puts a lot of pressure on people to follow a set plan for their lives, which includes having kids. Then, though, Cena doesn’t live up to these standards.
