The first movie from Tyler Perry’s big deal with Amazon Studios has just been revealed. Kat Graham, Tyler Lepley, RonReaco Lee, Meagan Tandy, and others will be in the movie.

Perry wrote, directed, and produced the movie Black, White, & Blue, which also stars Josh Adeyeye, Jimi Stanton, Shannon LaNier, and Nick Barrotta. Perry wrote, directed, and produced the movie.

The official logline is:

Rodney Blackburn’s death at the hands of a police officer throws Fela Blackburn’s life into chaos. She wants to find out what happened and get justice, so she asks her best friend Marley Wells, a lawyer, and her husband Tony Wells, a former cop who is now a private investigator, to use their connections to find the truth. But as Fela finds out the truth, she realizes that her whole world is built on lies and betrayal.

Angi Bones and Will Areu of Tyler Perry Studios, as well as Jamall Ellzy, are also directors on the show.

In a statement about his Amazon deal, Perry said, “[Head of Amazon Studios] Jennifer Salke and the whole team have welcomed me with open arms, and I’m looking forward to continuing to tell unique stories and bring my next projects to the global audiences that they reach.”

As was said before, Perry will write, direct, and create four movies that will be available on Prime Video.

“A Madea Homecoming and A Jazzman’s Blues” are two of the new movies that Perry has put on Netflix. He also worked with Lionsgate for a long time.
