Shameik Moore seems to be planning his next project while riding high on the success of his last movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He wants Zendaya to join him.

In an interview with Vibe at the BET Media House last weekend, the actor from “Dope” said that he wants to work with the first black woman to win an Emmy in a romantic movie.

“As actors, I think Zendaya and I need a movie like Love Jones, Love and Basketball, or Boomerang in the next three to four years. Moore said, “There has to be something for the culture.”

Across the Spider-Verse, in which Moore plays the main character Miles Morales/Spider-Man, has been praised by everyone and has made over $560 million at the worldwide box office, even though it only cost $100 million to make.

During the interview, Moore talked about the movie’s effect and the responsibility that comes with playing Spider-Man.

“I think that seeing the people and stuff after the movie came out is the most memorable thing. For me, the best part of the movie is how it makes me feel. Seeing what people say about me online and how they respond to me in person,” Moore said. “I get a lot of requests from people I know to make videos for their kids, cousins, or other people they know, like kids or friends who might be sick or in the hospital. It takes a lot of work to be Spider-Man.”
