Monday was Victoria and David Beckham’s 24th wedding anniversary. They had a big party and talked about the past two decades they’ve spent together.
To celebrate, the couple posted a bunch of old photos on Instagram. Victoria, 49, joked that she was still “laughing with, not just at” her husband.
A sweet collection of photos showed the couple over the years holding hands, snuggling up, and drinking wine.
She wrote in the captions, “Still holding hands and still laughing (with you, not just at you) I love you so much, @davidbeckham xx.”
While David, 48, shared an old photo, he wrote a sweet message to “the best wife, mum and drinking partner.”
David, who was much younger, could be seen smiling next to the fashion designer, who is 49, as they held two puppies.
“Today is April 7, 1999, which is 24 years and counting. “To the best wife, mum, and (most of the time) drinking buddy, I love you so much on your anniversary,” David wrote.
Victoria showed a clip of the couple cutting their cake on their wedding day earlier in the day.
During the Robin Hood-themed wedding at Dublin’s Luttrellstown Castle, Posh and Becks were seen in their famous purple outfits that matched.
Victoria wrote “4.7.99. 24 years ago” under the picture. I love you so much @DavidBeckham.’
She then went to her Stories to show how spoiled she’d been on the anniversary. She posted a picture of all the cards she’d gotten next to a big Hermes box that held a gift from David.
Their youngest kid, Harper, who is 11 years old, also gave them two gift bags and told them they were the ‘best mum and dad ever’.
Victoria and David got married in Ireland in 1999. They have three sons: Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20, and Cruz, 18. Since then, they have lived their lives in the public eye.
Last year, they said that there were many people who didn’t like them. Victoria said, “They say he’s not funny, they say I never smile, they said it wouldn’t last…” We’ve been married for 23 years today. I love you so much, David, because you are everything to me.
