The truck drivers for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour will be paid a lot of money for their hard work, around six figures.

The 33-year-old superstar is finishing up the US part of her massive tour, which will continue next week in Mexico. And before a recent show in Santa Clara, California, the drivers who have been hauling the huge loads of production equipment needed every night were given bonus checks for $100,000.

Sources from TMZ say that there are about 50 truckers on staff for the US tour, which means that Taylor Swift just paid out a cool $5 million in bonuses.

Next week, the star of “Bad Blood” will finish her US tour with a set of shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, just outside of Los Angeles. People think that the run of shows in different cities across the country made more than $1 billion in sales. When the world tour ends on August 17, 2024, in London, it could very well be the most successful tour of all time.

And not just truck drivers are getting prizes that add money to their bank accounts.

TMZ says that the band members, dancers, lighting and sound techs, caterers, and other staff who worked hard on the monster tour are all getting a “very generous amount” of money as a thank you.

Swift has called the Eras tour a “journey through all of her musical eras.” It is the 33-year-old singer’s second stadium tour after her Reputation tour in 2018.

Eras will have a total of 131 shows in five countries. The first one was in Glendale, Arizona, in March of this year, and the last one will be at Wembley Stadium in London in August of next year. Each show is three hours long and has 44 songs. The songs are spread out over 10 parts that are meant to represent the themes of Swift’s albums.

Eras has already been praised all over the U.S. as a huge success that has helped local economies and boosted business and tourists all over the country. World records for ticket sales have been broken, and venues all over the world have set new marks for live shows because of the huge demand for tickets.

Swift has been quick to thank her fans and the other artists at each show. For example, after the shows in Santa Clara, she tweeted, “Really blows my mind that we only have one more city on the US leg of The Eras Tour. This past weekend in Santa Clara was a big party. Both groups were so loud and rowdy. And I’ll never forget when Alana, Este, and Danielle came out wearing the dresses from the Bejeweled video. I loved every minute of those shows and can’t wait for LA. Six shows at Sofi Stadium, let’s goooooo.”

Haim and Gracie Abrams will be the opening acts for the upcoming shows at SoFi. The tour will then head south of the border to Mexico, starting on Thursday, August 24 at Foro Sol in Mexico City, where Swift will play four shows before going on to Argentina.
