Not too long ago, I was looking around on the Internet and came across some amazing photos of Phaedra Parks from her college days in the 1990s. At that time, life looked very different!
I wasn’t going to use them at first, but since Phaedra is out of the country right now shooting for RHOA, I thought it might be a good time to share them without getting any complaints.
The picture above (on the right) shows Phaedra when she was a freshman in high school, full of energy and ready to take over the world. Even though she is over 20 years older, she still has that same beautiful smile and looks young.
Before Phaedra became Atlanta’s most popular entertainment lawyer, a new mom, and the stylish star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she was a young, pretty, and very smart freshman at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia.
With a little help from my friends at Starcasm, who found her Wesleyan yearbooks (which cover the years 1990–1993), we can now look back at Phaedra’s college days and see how college students dressed in the 1990s.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane and see what Phaedra looked like in her sophomore, junior, and senior years to appreciate the unique style of the 1990s.
