The BET Awards from this year are still being talked about. One of the best parts of the night was when Offset and Quavo got back together to pay respect to Takeoff, a dead Migos member.
There had been reports for months that Offset and Quavo were fighting. These rumors started before Takeoff’s death in November. Offset went live on Instagram on June 29 to talk about how the show came together. It looks like he and Quavo have nothing but love for each other.”
“The BET performance was iconic, man,” Offset said. “It made me feel better. We put that together in 16 hours, between me and my brother Qua. Like 15 hours. We get back from Paris around 9 p.m. and go straight to work to figure out how we’re going to put the show together, man.”
During rehearsals, they didn’t sleep, and they put together the visual parts of the show in less than a day. Offset thought that this made the Migos “real stars.”
He also said more good things about Quavo, which seemed to reassure fans that they haven’t been fighting for a long time.
Offset said, “Qua and I stood tall, like brothers.” “You dig what I’m saying? And I thank everyone for their help, man. It was a show and a feeling…And you know that when the three of them work together, the result is always dramatic. Always going to be true. It will always be holy. God bless that moment. And like I said, RIP to Take. You all know what’s going to happen with my brother. And we did it for Take. And we still don’t take. That’s our history. Migos forever. The best band ever to do it.”
