The “Make Me Feel” singer walked out on stage wearing a black and white bikini top, shorts, and a hat with the same pattern.
During the life performance, Monáe pulled up one side of her top to show her breasts.
The 37-year-old woman’s perky bust was partly censored because a pink flower-shaped sticker covered her nipple in a discreet way.
But Essence Fest is not the first time in recent months that Monáe has shown off her breasts.
In May, a video of the “Glass Onion” star showing off her breasts during a live performance went viral and made the internet go crazy.
Monáe’s style has changed over the past few years. She made her first appearance in Hollywood wearing designer outfits that were much more conservative.
But last July, the non-binary musician—who uses she/her and they/them pronouns—shared a photo of herself without a top.
“Earthly Pleasures,” the star of the movie “Hidden Figures” wrote next to it. “Ibiza’s beaches without sand dunes hit different…The way my ancestors pumped me up will always make me want to try new things.”
Monáe then posed shirtless for the June 2023 cover of Rolling Stone and said that she is “much happier when my titties are out and I can run around free.”
The Grammy nominee put out a new song called “Lipstick Lover” last month. To promote it, she shared a short clip of herself swimming in a pool while wearing a wet, see-through t-shirt.
More than 2.9 million people have watched the racy video.
Monáe told Rolling Stone, before the release of her new record “The Age of Pleasure,” how she has changed, saying, “It’s no longer about an album. I’ve changed everything about the way I live.”
She did well. We live for Janelle’s freedom, and everyone should want to feel as good as she does.
