Monday night’s Emmy Awards took an unexpected turn when watchers saw a guest in the crowd who looked strange.
People spoke about the guest on social media right away because she had green skin, a horrible face, long nails that looked like claws, and a beautiful green dress.

Someone saw a green creature at the #EMMYs, according to the celebrity news site Pop Base. Another watcher was scared and asked, “WHO THE HELL IS THAT?”
Soon, detectives on the internet were able to figure out that the famous monster was actually reality TV star Princess Poppy. She is probably best known for being on season 15 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
While her co-stars chose fancy clothes, Princess Poppy’s choice was so out of the ordinary that it left watchers amazed and confused.
Poppy talked about her unusual outfit choice in an interview with Entertainment Weekly on the red carpet. She said, “I wanted to do the exact opposite of what is expected of you when you go to an event like this.” It was my goal to flip the rules of etiquette on their heads.
“I mostly wanted to be a troll-slash-hag,” she said. To scare you, all you had to do was turn around and look at me in the worst way possible.
