Charlie Sheen Got Complete Custody of His Two Adolescent Girls Who Lived With Their Mom in Her “Hell House.”
After his ugly divorce from Denise Richards, with whom he had two daughters, Charlie Sheen became Hollywood’s most notorious bad boy.
Charlie Sheen was one of the biggest performers of the late 20th century. Throughout his early career, Sheen was a fan favourite for his humour and bad boy antics.
Sheen was fascinating onscreen, but his life offscreen was much more so. The actor was always around mayhem and his notoriety. All ended in acrimony. After Sheen shot actress Kelly Preston, they broke up.
The “Two and a Half Men” star refuted such charges, and when he married Denise Richards, everything appeared fine. Their marriage failed.
Their divorce was more popular than their marriage. Richards was surprised by the publicity their breakup received.
The divorce affected Richards’s career considerably. In an interview, the actress stated she struggled to find assignments after her breakup from the “Young Guns” actor.

“Starship Troopers” launched Richards’ Hollywood career in 1997. A year later, she appeared in “Wild Things” starring Neve Campbell and Kevin Bacon.

“Good Advice” introduced the former couple in 2000. After appearing in Sheen’s “Spin City” in 2001, they began dating.
Two years after their 2002 wedding, their daughter Sam was born. Sheen had Cassandra from a previous relationship.
Their wedding day was vibrant. Sheen’s father, Martin Sheen, attended the private Catholic ceremony. “Spin City” inventor Gary David Goldberg hosted it in Los Angeles.
Sheen wore a Giorgio Armani two-button tuxedo jacket, while the bride chose a white satin gown with a plunging back and a crystal-beaded jacket. Sheen and Richards married for the second time.
Richards told Piers Morgan that Sheen’s bravery and humility in overcoming addiction captivated her. When they met, the actor was changing, she said.
Bitter Battle
In 2006, Richards filed for divorce from Sheen. Richards was six months pregnant with Lola, their second daughter.
After their breakup, the newspapers were full of drama as the two kept verbally attacking each other. Sheen called Richards nasty names while denying her abuse claims.
This tense divorce lasted years. Sheen continued to insult his wife online, and Richards remained silent.
In 2016, Richards sued Sheen for $1 million, ending the dispute. She stated he had unjustly evicted her and her children and written threatening letters to the kids about her. Notwithstanding these charges, Sheen and his lawyer criticised the actress.
According to legal records, Sheen urged Richards and her daughters to move into a home he had bought next door, vowing not to evict them.
Richards said she reluctantly moved into the Beverly Hills Mulholland Estates mansion. After the move, Sheen’s behaviour towards her and Sam and Lola deteriorated.
NO CHILD SUPPORT
Sheen asked the court to halt child support payments for years. In 2021, a judge granted the actor’s request to pay “zero” child support. The actor stated he lived with his teens and had full custody.
Sam, the estranged couple’s daughter, said life with her mother was awful a month before the verdict. The deleted post indicated Richard’s issues with the teen.

Despite his tough image, Sheen is a loving father to his girls. The actor’s kids proudly call themselves “daddy’s girls” because they bond with their renowned dad.
“As the girls were growing up, Charlie always did his best to clear his calendar to attend their events like their horse exhibitions and school meetings,” a family source told HollywoodLife.
The insider added the actor wanted his separated family to get along with Richards.
Richards thanks Sheen for reconnecting. After reconciling with Sheen, Richards felt she could tell her girls she tried. She also said she and Sheen are “fine.”
After divorce
Sheen and Richards divorced abruptly and led distinct lives. Sheen has three wives. Donna Peele was his first wife, 1995–1996. He married Richards from 2002 to 2006 and Brooke Mueller from 2008 to 2011.
Since his third marriage, the actor has remained single. Sheen is back to becoming one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors.
Richards, like Sheen, remarried. In 2018, she married Aaron Phypers. Nonetheless, Sheen’s custody struggle has caused concern.
Phypers was dissatisfied with Sheen’s incessant dragging and gimmicks, according to sources. Lola, Sheen’s youngest daughter with Richards, spends some time with her mum, but sources said all the children love Sheen.
