Catherine is on vacation with her husband Michael Douglas in Europe right now. People saw the couple in the pretty fishing town of Portofino on the Italian Riviera before they went to Capri. In addition, they spent some time in Spain, where their vacation house with ten bedrooms is located.
Their house is in the mountains of Majorca, just outside the town of Valldemossa. It’s 11,000 square feet and has a view of the mountains.
The stunning mansion has a large living room, a movie theater, a gym, an outdoor swimming pool, a vineyard, and a path that leads directly to the sea through the town of S’Estaca.
UK TV host Linda Robson talked about Catherine and Michael’s home in Spain after visiting it while on holiday on the island.
Her words, “The villa was so beautiful, I can’t tell you,” were followed by the news that Catherine had added her own style to the decor. „She made the curtains and pillowcases herself. It was absolutely stunning. They served us food with flowers in it.
Since 1993, Catherine and Michael have been married. At the Deauville Film Festival in 1998, the Welsh actress was pushing The Mask of Zorro with Antonio Banderas, and her future husband was promoting A Perfect Murder with Gwyneth Paltrow. That’s where their love story began.
Michael told Catherine in a cheeky way, “You know, I’m going to be the father of your children.” It was love at first sight for him.
Catherine wasn’t happy about Michael’s comment at first, but he soon won her over by sending her roses while she was on her next acting job.
They got engaged almost a year earlier on New Year’s Eve at Michael’s house in Aspen, Colorado. They got married in a big wedding at the New York Plaza Hotel in November 2000.
They have two children together. Dylan is 22 years old and Carys is 20.
