Usher feels bad about what he did at the 2014 MTV VMAs.

Charlamagne Tha God and Jess Hilarious interviewed the 45-year-old “U Got It Bad” singer, who talked about getting physical with Nicki Minaj during their performance at the awards show 10 years ago. The chat aired on Monday on The Breakfast Club.

“Have you seen some old videos of yourself, like when you were on stage with Nicki Minaj and hit her in the behind?” What was wrong with you?” Charlamagne, who is 45 years old, asked Usher about the performance where he also hit the “Anaconda” singer in the behind.

Usher announces that his career-spanning North American tour will begin in August.

The R&B star tried to laugh it off at first and explain why he was upset.

“Of course! That was Jamaican way of life! You need to go to Jamaica. “That was just a fun moment,” Usher said, referring to the way people dance on the island. As a side note, I was playing my bass, so I probably would have hit my shoulder or hand. But I had my bass in my hand and was playing, so I hit her body a little. If you watch the film again, you’ll understand because that’s where I did it for the first time.

During their 2014 collaboration “She Came to Give It to You,” the eight-time Grammy winner plays bass and bounces his shoulder and head against Minaj’s behind. He then stands up and spanks the 41-year-old rapper.

“No, it was on beat and everything!” Charlamagne thought back. “It hit the beat, and I thought, ‘Damn!'”

“But I think I was reaching a little when I hit her,” Usher said. “I should not have hit her. “That was wrong of me.”

Then Jess, 42, stepped in and brought the subject back to how he had been talking about how important it is to help other Black artists. “See, you need to help her up!”

The “Burn” singer said of the heated moment, “I was lifting!”
