According to Tina Turner’s Daughter-In-Law, the singer had concerns that her son Ronnie would ‘turn out like’ his violent father Ike.

Afida Turner, Tina Turner’s daughter-in-law, has stated that the late singer was concerned that her son Ronnie would take after his abusive father Ike Turner’s behavior.

According to Afida, who was married to Ronnie from 2007 until his death in 2022, Tina “sometimes told me, ‘You don’t want to stay with him.'” He is going to be like his father.'”

Tina’s marriage to Ike lasted from 1962 until 1976, and throughout that time, she was subjected to both physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her husband. In her autobiography titled “I, Tina,” she discusses the abuse in a straightforward manner.

According to Afida, Ronnie did exhibit some worrying behaviors in the beginning of their relationship; however, over time, he was able to turn things around and make things better.

“At first, he was kind of like his father, but after that, he was going very well,” she said. “At first, he was kind of like his father.” “He made a very big effort to keep me.”

In December of 2022, Ronnie Turner succumbed to his battle with cancer at the age of 59. He was his parents Tina Turner and Ike Turner’s only child together.

Tina Turner passed away in May of 2023, having reached the age of 81 years. She was a global star whose songs and her life story motivated millions of people all over the world.
