A 7-year-old boy who was shot Sunday night while sleeping in his bed has died.
On July 2, around 9:30 p.m., someone called the cops to report a shooting in the 8000 block of Rothington Rd.
When they got there, they found Kyrie Barnes, who was 7 years old, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital in very bad shape.
On July 6, the news came out that Barnes had died from his wounds.
At the moment, cops have no idea who did it. This case is still being looked into.
