RadarOnline.com got court papers that say Bryson was arrested on July 3 for felony possession of the controlled substance Fentanyl, which is on the Schedule II list.
Prosecutors wrote in an arrest request that the crime happened at a home in Lawrenceville, Georgia, around 1 AM. Bryson was also given a “loitering/prowling” charge, which is a minor crime.
The police affidavit said that Bryson was at the home in question “to get away from the police and lie that he knew the people who lived there.”
When asked what his name was during questions, Bryson said he was his younger brother, Brentt Leakes, who NeNe had with her late husband, Gregg. Because of this, Brentt’s name is on the first few papers that were filed in the criminal case.
The Gwinnett County Jail’s records show that Bryson was booked around 2:36 AM. The amount of his bond was $5,900. On the ticket sheet, he is written down under the name Brentt. At 12:20, he was let go.
During the booking process, Bryson gave the police the address of a house that NeNe had sold years before.
Prosecutors have added a new charge: “giving a law enforcement officer a false name, address, or date of birth.” This is written in new papers. In the new filing, the suspect was named Bryson Rashard Bryant, and his date of birth was given as December 26, 1989.
According to the jail records, it looks like Bryson was caught again and is now in jail.
In another case, Bryson was also accused of going against his probation. He is supposed to go to court at the end of this month.
NeNe just can’t get a break.
