Carlethia “Carlee” Nichole Russell’s boyfriend, Thomar Latrell Simmons, seems to delete all pictures of her from his social media after she finds out about it.
As of Wednesday, July 19, Simmons has taken down all of the pictures of Carlee from his Instagram. This happened just three days after he told her he was glad she was back home and that he stood by her.
“I don’t even know how to start this post, except to thank my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for saving the life of my girlfriend!” Simmons said this in a post on Instagram. “Thank you also to everyone who shared a picture, came to the Hoover Met to help with the search parties, or went and told other people about Carlee to make more people aware of her story.”
He also said, “”I know she would have done the same for me, so I wasn’t going to give up until I saw her face again! Even when I” went on social media in my free time, I could only see one thing.
Carlee “went missing soon after calling 911 to report that she saw a baby walking alone on the side of” I-459 South near mile marker 11. She said she saw the child near mile marker 11. She also talked to “her brother’s girlfriend before she went missing to tell her about the child” she had seen. When the worried relative lost touch with Carlee, she called the police right away and told them she had heard Carlee screaming during their last talk.
Carlee came back to her home in Alabama only 48 hours after she had gone missing. She later went to a hospital to be checked out before going back home. During the ongoing investigation, the police said they couldn’t find any proof that a child was walking alone on the highway the night Carlee went missing.
The police say that they haven’t been able to back up most of Carlee’s first comments to them. Even so, they have stressed that there is no sign that this case poses a threat to public safety.
