Sullivan told everyone that his mother, Pam Joi Sullivan, had died on July 22. She posted about the sad news on Instagram on Monday, saying that she couldn’t find the right words at the moment. In the post, Sullivan paid tribute to her mother by thanking her and sending her a peaceful rest.

“”I don’t know what to say yet, mom. So, for now, I’ll” just say “thank you” over and over again. “Rest now, blue butterfly [emoji] 10/26/58-07/22/23,” she wrote.

Even though the official reason of Pam’s death has not been revealed, it is important to note that she was first diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in October 2019. On Mother’s Day in 2020, Sullivan talked about how this news changed their lives in a big way and turned their world upside down.

“Instead of you telling me to hurry up and finish my project, our days were now filled with cancer treatments and trips to the hospital. “Fast, things got real,” Sullivan wrote. “But if there’s one thing being your daughter has taught me, it’s how to turn something ugly or even painful into a work of art. So this is what we’ve been doing since October. Trying to make something beautiful out of this mess.”

A month earlier, Pam had said that she liked how Sullivan “stepped up to the plate” after Pam was told she had cancer.

“It’s funny that I came to you when I found out I had cancer, because I’ve always thought you were a bit flighty and careless. As your manager, I’ve always tried to figure out what you didn’t have and fix it so you could be ready for your future. What I didn’t know was that you already had what I thought you needed,” Pam wrote in an Instagram post.
