In the new movie about Michael Jackson’s life, Michael, directed by Antoine Fuqua, the singer’s nephew Jaafar Jackson gets a lot of praise.

Fuqua told Yahoo Entertainment that Jaafar looks just like his late uncle Michael in the new movie. He said, “It’s so scary how much he looks like Michael, it’s uncanny.”

Fuqua also made it clear that the movie is still being made, “except for the strike.” He also said that shooting for the biopic was supposed to start this year, before the strikes.

Also, the movie is supposed to cover everything about Jackson’s life and work. We can assume that this also means that the movie will talk about the claims of sexual abuse of children. In 2005, Jackson was cleared of charges about his behaviour with a 13-year-old boy. In the 2019 HBO documentary Leaving Neverland, however, allegations from choreographer Wade Robeson and James Safechuck, as well as new accusations from Safechuck, have come up again. Jackson’s friends, family, and supporters were very upset with the documentary.

He said, “We’ll just tell the facts as we know them, the good, the bad, and the ugly.” His words are similar to what Lionsgate has said about the movie, which is that it will “look at every part of Jackson’s life.”

The Jackson estate, which is making the movie through co-executors John McClain and John Branca, has accepted or given permission for the facts to be shown. Fans of the Jackson family know that Jackson’s estate has always rejected the allegations of wrongdoing against him. They also sued HBO for $100 million over the movie “Leaving Neverland,” which was about him.

The movie is being made by Graham King, who also made Bohemian Rhapsody. In 2022, Jackson’s mother Katherine said something rare about the movie to show that she liked it. “As a member of The Jackson 5, Michael loved the magic of films ever since he was a child,” she said. “It’s an honour for our family to see our life story come to life on the big screen.”
