Some people didn’t like the singer because he was older than his oldest son, Brian McKnight Jr. Fans have called him out, saying he’s evil and disgusting for breaking up with his other children, McKnight Jr., Niko, Briana, and Clyde, who are from last relationships.

One Twitter user said, “I’ve never seen anyone proudly show how much they hate their children like Brian McKnight.” “It’s really mean to change his name to match the baby’s when he already has a Jr.” He’s a trash person for not only doing it but also showing it to everyone.

“This is only…”There are no words to describe what a horrible person you are to hurt your firstborn son by making a mess like this. #BrianMcknight is really gross for this!” Someone else posted.

McKnight Jr. wrote a post on Instagram on Saturday in response to the news that his father had changed his name. This came after a friend suggested that he change his name so that it wouldn’t be linked to his father.

He said, “I’m not ashamed of the name my ancestors had.” “I’m not going to change my son’s name. There is an unacceptable amount of self-hatred going on here, which has now reached the level of a mental sickness.

“It’s not in the name to be legacy. It comes from the way people are. Soon, it will be very clear who is on the right side of this, because no one can avoid what’s coming.
