Grant Hill, who used to play basketball, and his wife Tamia become limited partners in two sports teams.

On Instagram, the couple said that they are limited partners in the management group for the “Orlando City Soccer Club and the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League in Orlando”, FL. Their participation shows how much they love those games.

“We’re thrilled to be working with the @orlpride and @orlandocitysc ownership group as a partner.” We have been big fans of both teams for a long time. We love watching and cheering for the women and men of the @nwsl and @mls. “We can’t wait to keep supporting @exploriastadium and join in the fun and passion for many years to come,” Grant and Tamia wrote on Instagram.

A news statement says that the Hills have been seen as leaders in the Orlando sports community and as season-ticket holders for many years. Furthermore, they have also given substantial amounts of money to charitable causes, such as Habitat for Humanity, Make-A-Wish, the Special Olympics, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

Because the Hills wanted to give back to the community, they became more involved with both “Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride.

“We’d like to thank the Wilf Family for giving us the chance to join this amazing group and make our family a part of the Orlando City and Orlando Pride family,” Tamia and Grant Hill said in the” news release. “As soon as “we met the Wilfs, we were impressed by their plans for the club and” their desire to give back to the Central Florida community, which is something we care deeply about as well.”

Leader and owner of the club, Mark Wilf, said in a statement:

“We’re thrilled to have Tamia and Grant Hill join our group of owners for Orlando City and Orlando Pride.” We’ve gotten to know Tamia and Grant better over the past few years and respect how much they care about our clubs and the community.

He went on to say, “Both have “professional resumes that speak for themselves. They are highly accomplished” businesspeople, “but more importantly, they are great contributors to the Orlando area”.” Tamia and Grant have been passionate about and supportive of our teams for a long time. For example, they have been devoted Orlando Pride fans since the beginning, so we look forward to continuing to grow our organisation with their help.

This is Grant’s second time taking ownership of a team. Bleacher Report says that he is also a co-owner of the Atlanta Hawks. CNBC says he bought shares for more than $800 million.
