Fans and actors all over the world love Clint Eastwood. He has won many film awards for his famous roles and is also active in politics. For many years, he has been seen as a stand-in for manhood.

Well-known 89-year-old doesn’t talk much about his personal life, but he has been in a few relationships. Besides being married twice, he has seven children.

But Eastwood just told a story that ties him to one of his famous films and that he hasn’t talked about in years.During the worst part of the Great Depression, in 1930, the birth of Hollywood’s longest-running movie star took place in San Francisco. His sister is younger than him.

because his family had to move a lot because his father worked in the steel business. He was born weighing an amazing 11 pounds, 6 ounces and was named Samson. He got taller over time and is now 6 feet 4 inches.

When he was done with high school, he moved to Seattle and worked as a lifeguard there before joining the Army in 1950.

But a lot of people don’t know that Eastwood, when he was 21, was on a military plane from World War II that crashed in the Pacific.

Eastwood said in an interview, “I was getting a free ride from Seattle down to Almeda.”

“It was stormy, and we sank in the Pacific Ocean off of Point Reyes, California.” I got into the water and swam for a few miles to get to land. In that moment, I thought, “Well, 21 is not a long time to live.”

Eastwood finally made it to land after swimming for hours through kelp beds in the Pacific. He climbed a bluff to yell for help.

In 2016, when he was making the biopic film Sully: Miracle on the Hudson with Tom Hanks, this training came in very handy.

The movie, which got great reviews, is about the emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River in 2009. All 155 passengers and staff members were saved.

The movie shows that Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, even though his bosses later told him not to, made the quick choice to land the jet in the cold Hudson River.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Eastwood said, “I guess if I were in the same situation as the pilot, I would have taken a chance on a water landing rather than go somewhere with no runway.”

“And, of course, Sully knew that area…He chose the right spot…”He was sure that someone would see them,” he said.

Eastwood was more interested in what happened next than in the amazing landing Sully made and the lives he saved.

“Someone with great character and interesting to watch on film is someone who keeps their cool when things go wrong and can solve problems without getting upset,” Eastwood said.

“The real trouble for me came afterward, when the investigating board questioned his choices, even though he had saved so many lives.”
