Within New York City, a blonde enters a bank and queries the Loan manager. For work reasons, she wants to go to Europe for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000. As security for the loan, the bank worker asks the woman for the keys to a brand-new Mercedes-Benz SL 500.

Parking the car on the street in front of the bank, she has the title, and everything seems to be fine. The loan is approved, and the bank agrees to take the car as security. People at the bank love to laugh at the blonde for putting up a $110,000 Mercedes as collateral for a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then drives the Benz into the garage below the bank and parks it there. After two weeks, the blonde comes back and pays back the $5,000 plus $15.41 in interest. The loan officer tells the woman, “Miss, we’re glad to have had your business and this deal has gone smoothly, but we’re a little confused.” We looked you up while you were away and found that you are worth a lot of money. What we don’t get is why you would want to borrow $5,000. The girl answers, “Where else in New York City can I park my car for $15.41 for two weeks and know it will still be there when I get back?”
