People know Maureen McCormick best for playing Marcia Brady on the popular TV show “The Brady Bunch.” In the beginning of the show, she was only 13 years old.
There were five seasons of the famous American show, which ran from 1969 to 1974. The last season ended when McCormick was 18 years old.
Many years later, the child star played Marcia again in the spin-off show “The Brady Brides,” which came after the TV movie “The Brady Girls Get Married.”
She got back together with Eve Plumb, who played Jan Brady on the original show.

McCormick recently turned 67 years old on August 5, 2023. To celebrate, she let her brother, who is crippled, blow out a candle on her cake.
On Instagram, she posted a sweet video of her brother trying to blow out the candle. She asked if they could do it together, therefore he agreed. Afterward, people cheered for them.
The person from Los Angeles thanked everyone for the birthday wishes and said it was a great night in the caption. “The sweetest video ever,” said one of her fans. HBD.”
On July 10, 2023, McCormick also shared a touching post of her and her brother having ice cream on a sunny day.
When McCormick talked about her brother Dennis, who was born with an intellectual disability, on the British television show “I’m a Celebrity…” she got emotional.They said, “Get Me Out Of Here!” in February 2015.
Through her role on the show, she told the audience, through tears, that she wanted to speak out for disabled people. When Dennis was born, McCormick said, Dennis’s parents were told to put him in a facility, but they refused.
As she got older, she became very interested in helping people like her brother. During her time on the show, she fought for the non-profit group Achieve Australia, which helps disabled people.
The experienced actress said that the group helps people like Dennis fit in with society and take part in community events.

Their mother died of cancer, which was very sad, and Dennis ended up in a center for people with mental disabilities.
Even though her family had problems, McCormick’s marriage to actor Michael Cummings, whom she met at a concert in 1985, gave her love and security.
They got married after a short romance and have been together ever since. The reason McCormick said they were married for so long was because they loved each other and shared a faith.
Natalie, their daughter, was born in May 1989. Natalie doesn’t have a public life, even though her mother is famous. She apparently wants to be a businesswoman and runs her own yoga studio.
Natalie likes to stay out of the spotlight, but McCormick commonly posts pictures of her family on social media, showing how much she loves her husband and daughter.
