Bob Marley’s famous grandson is Joseph Mersa Marley. Stephen, who is Bob’s son, is the father of the 31-year-old singer-songwriter. In 1981, when he was 36, Grandfather Bob died after a short fight with cancer. He had 11 children with seven different women. His children and his songs will be remembered for a long time. Joseph grew up in Jamaica and went to Saint “Peter and Paul Preparatory School before moving to Florida”, just like his grandfather did. He has also worked with Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Busta Rhymes, MC Lyte, Chuck D, and more. In the 1990s, he worked on “No Woman, No Cry” by The Fugees. His last project was a tribute record to Nina Simone that was based on reggae.
