James, 57, and Quayle, 22, have been dating for almost two years after first meeting on a night out at a casino.
Brightnye, who was born in Christchurch, New Zealand, but now resides in Queensland with James, made the decision to buy nine sandwiches at the pub on that specific evening, which caught the attention of her now-older partner, according to Daily Mail.
She is a young model and diving instructor who frequently faces criticism. Some people believe she is with James for his money because of their age difference and the fact that she is usually mistaken for James’s daughter.
After they started dating, the couple opened a TikTok account where they posted little videos of their beautiful moments and daily activities. Even still, a lot of viewers object to their significant age disparity.
“We actually met totally organically at the casino,” Brightnye said. I was the girl who thought it was appropriate to purchase nine sandwiches at the time. He approached me from behind and motioned for me to come talk to him, so I did.
James said, “I thought someone “buying nine sandwiches was either starving to death or needed to be talked to”.
James had been married for almost thirty years before he met Quayle. He had four kids, each of whom had a different perspective on their father’s new companion.
One of them “is sitting on the fence, and the other would like to murder you with a pitchfork, which isn’t very” kind, he remarked, adding that only two of them were a problem. “We don’t mind, though; we’re in love”.
The couple has been under fire from their social media fans, who cast doubt on Qualye’s loyalty and claim that she is just with James for his money.

The 35-year age difference bothered us initially since we thought it was a little strange, she added. We have a very unique and sincere connection, and we no longer really notice our age gap; it no longer affects our relationship.
Nowadays, it is impossible to date younger men since they lack social skills. For the first year, we both thought it was absurd, but now we both actually feel a connection and something special, and we love each other very much. We cannot lose that to anyone. Love is just love.
