“Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s 11-year-old daughter” has joined her Grammy-winning mom on the Renaissance World Tour to show off her skills, and Rowland, who used to be a part of Destiny’s Child, is amazed.
“I’m very proud,” Rowland said to E! News. “She works very, very hard, full stop. But, you know, how could she not? She sees her mother at work and her father at work, and she sees how they put hard work into everything they do.
Blue Ivy first got on stage in May, when she danced with Beyoncé’s backup dancers to “My Power” “from The Lion King: The Gift”, which came out in 2019. A few days later, she showed up out of the blue in London again. The oldest Carter child also showed up in Las Vegas, New York, and Atlanta.
“Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, also praised Blue Ivy” on Instagram soon after it was her first time on stage, calling her “the coolest, most confident 11-year-old I know!!!!”
“I can’t believe how brave, talented, and beautiful this 11-year-old was last night!” Lawson talked about her niece some more. “In that crowd, there were almost 70,000 people. She danced with grown-up expert dancers and did moves and choreography that they had practised for months. She practised and figured this out in just over a week. She handled it so well!”
Not just Lawson and Rowland are proud of Blue Ivy. Beyoncé, Blue Ivy’s mom, was also happy to share the praise on Instagram after Blue Ivy’s act.
“My beautiful first born, I’m so glad and proud to be your mum,” “the singer wrote with a photo and two videos” of the first performance. “My sweet angel, you bring us so much happiness.”
