Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson were just named President and Vice President of Reebok Basketball, respectively.

Shaquille O’Neal will be in charge of basketball strategy and relationships, and Allen Iverson will be in charge of hiring new players and community projects to give Reebok’s basketball line a new lease on life.

Both players signed with Reebok in the early 1990s. O’Neal is best known for the Shaq Attaq and Shaqnosis sneakers he designed in 1992. Iverson made a name for himself with the Reebok Questions in 1996, which changed the game as a starting shoe.

“We’re excited to grow our relationship with Shaquille with this important appointment.” “As an athlete, he left an amazing mark on not only our brand but also the sport and culture of basketball,” said Todd Krinsky, CEO of Reebok. “There is no one better than this guy to take the helm and lead our brand back to its rightful place and dominance in basketball. He has a long history with Reebok and has had a huge impact on the game.”

O’Neil says that he is excited to work with Iverson to find the best athletes, both men and women, to help Reebok succeed.

Shaq told Complex, “We’ve been friends for a long time.” “He was happy, he’s a great guy, and he’ll be next to me.”
